Questions we hear every week

What does “unheated and untreated” mean?

The stone reached you exactly as it came out of the ground — no heat, no glass filling, no diffusion. Only a small share of mined sapphires qualify, which is why we state it stone by stone.

Can I order a ring or necklace in my own design?

Yes — made-to-order is most of what we do. Bring a sketch, a photo or just an idea; we draw it, cut the mount in gold or silver, and set the stone you choose.

Do your gemstones come with certification?

Every important stone can be certified through our preferred certification body before purchase, and finished pieces leave with their paperwork.

Where do the stones come from?

Sri Lanka first — Ratnapura, Elahera and the traditional mining districts — plus our network of over 100 gem dealers across the world when a client needs something specific.

Can I visit the showroom?

Please do. We are at No. 15, Station Road, Colombo 04, Monday to Saturday. A quick WhatsApp before you come lets us lay out stones that match what you are looking for.
